US Approves UH-60M Black Hawk Helicopters sale to Mexico

The U.S has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Mexico for UH 60M Black Hawk Helicopters and equipment worth $225 million.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on Jun 24, 2014. 

The Government of Mexico has requested a possible sale of 5 UH 60M Black Hawk Helicopters in standard USG configuration including 13 GE 701D Engines, 12 Embedded Global Positioning Systems and Inertial Navigation Systems, 10 M134 7.62mm Machine Guns, 5 Star Safire III Forward Looking Infrared Radar Systems, 1 Aviation Mission Planning System, and 1 Aviation Ground Power Unit. 

Also included is communication equipment including radios and Identification Friend or Foe systems.
