IESA To Host Deftronics 2014 In Bangalore, India

India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), the premier body for the ESDM industry in the country, in partnership with Messe München International (MMI) will host DEFTRONICS 2014, an international industry symposium focused on “Aerospace and Defence Electronics” to be held on September 23 – 24, 2014 at BIEC, Bangalore.

DEFTRONICS 2014 is scheduled during Electronica India and Productronica India 2014, India’s leading trade fairs for the electronics industry and will focus primarily on these aspects: policy and business related matters and issues in defence.

The discussions will also delve into the challenges faced by the industry, have an open forum to discuss what needs to be done and get expert opinion from government bodies and industry stalwarts. While the focus of the symposium is on Defence, the other emerging adjacent segment of internal security is also being introduced as the challenges and solutions in this sector are probably similar and an early correct start will also be helpful for the entrepreneurs, according to an official statement.

DEFTRONICS 2014 features a powerful line-up of industry experts, government officials, strategists, policy makers and business leaders, offering keynote speeches and panel discussions including Kishore Jayaraman, President, India & South Asia, Rolls Royce; Dr. A. Sivathanu Pillai, CEO & MD, BrahMos Aerospace; Peter Gutsmiedl, CEO, Airbus D&S India, Som Pal Choudhry,  MD, Analog Devices; Rahul Chaudhry, CEO, Tata Power SED, Andleeb Shadman, COO, Airbus; Rahul Gangal, Roland Berger and Dave Ranson, MD, MOOG.
