Cubic Awarded Counter CBRN Support Contract by USAF Research Lab

Mission Support Services, a business segment of Cubic Corporation was awarded a contract valued at $9.9 million by the U.S. Air Force to support the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Human-Cantered Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division in the counter Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) and survivability mission areas.

Bill Toti, president of Cubic Mission Support Services said, “AFRL is recognized as one of the leaders in the area of counter-CBRN and survivability programs. As an R&D innovator, we are excited to expand the relationship we established with AFRL in 2006 and continue to conduct leading-edge projects that aid in developing innovative solutions, processes, and procedures for our military forces worldwide.”

Awarded under an AFRL Broad Agency Announcement, this five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) task order contract will focus on research, analysis, testing and evaluations of technology that will enhance the U.S. Air Force’s joint CBRN counter proliferation and survivability mission in the areas of cyber, electronic warfare, consequence management, alternative energy and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR).
