CACI Wins $38.5 Million Contract To Provide Rapid Prototyping And Technology Insertion Support

CACI International has won a $38.5 million contract for providing Rapid Prototyping and Technology Insertion (RPTI) support to the Command, Power & Integration Directorate’s Prototyping, Integration and Testing Division (PI&TD).

The contract was in support of the US Army Communications-Electronics Research Development & Engineering Center (CERDEC), Space & Terrestrial Communications Directorate (S&TCD), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Ground Activity (CGA), the company announced in its press release on Thursday.

Under this task order, CACI will provide RPTI engineering, development, and analysis support – to include specific tasks such as systems engineering, architecture development, and integration. Essentially, CACI will help maintain CERDEC’s Field Based Risk Reduction (FBRR) assessments for future Army force C4ISR technologies.

CERDEC is an Army applied research center that actively advances soldier capabilities to enable situational awareness and understanding, establish and secure communications, and protect them from surprise attack.
