Saab will display a Gripen fighter at the 2015 LAAD International Defense and Security Exhibition, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from April 14 to 17.
Alongside Gripen, Saab will also demonstrate its expertise in airborne early warning, air defence, naval systems, command and control, multi-mission sensors, ground combat systems, training and simulation, electronic warfare and SIGINT.
Saab will also highlight its Sea Gripen concept for a new multi-role shipborne fighter. Other Saab products include AviCom communications management system with simulator, DoubleEagle remotely operated vehicle and Erieye airborne surveillance system.
The highlights also include ESTEL, IDAS and CIDAS electronic warfare and self-defence systems, Ground combat weapon systems (MAPAM, AT4, Carl-Gustaf), Mine countermeasures vessels and systems, Naval composite material technology, TactiCall integrated communications, Training and simulation products and services, RBS 15 MkIII and RBS 70 NG advanced missile systems, SIGINT with MEDAV, 9LV combat management system and finally 9AIR TOCCS tactical operations command and control system.
