Cubic Global Defense (CGD) announced today that it has been selected as the prime contractor for the Australian Army’s Exercise and Advanced Services Standing Offer (EATSSO).
Under the new award, Cubic will support the Australian Army with exercise planning, management and evaluation and the delivery of simulated environmental effects, including both live as well as constructive support. The support also includes the provision of medical training.
“Cubic looks forward to supporting the Australian Army by delivering a broad range of training and simulation services that will complement the ongoing Instrumentation and Communication Programs we currently conduct with the Australian Army,” said Mark Horn, general manager, Cubic Defence Australia.
“We will continue to bring significant added value to large scale collective training events by providing a single point of coordinated exercise support in Australia.” Horn added.
EATSSO replaces the existing Collective Training Services Standing Offer (CTSSO) that was also supported by Cubic since 2011. EATSSO will operate for an initial period of five years with two further optional extension periods of up to two years.
Cubic’s delivery of EATSSO training services is complementary to Cubic’s other Australian capabilities in air and land live simulation and deployable instrumentation systems.
Services will be flexible to requirements and will include support to both mission specific and foundation training events.
