Elbit Systems has won an approximately $45 million contract from a European nation for the supply of military communications systems.
The contract will be performed over a two-year period, the company announced today.
The mobile communications systems, part of the CNR-9000 and HF-6000 product families, will be provided to a wide range of users, from the individual soldier to the division level, in dismounted and mounted configurations, for both medium and long-range distances.
Tens of thousands of these systems are already in use by numerous armed forces around the world.
Yehuda (Udi) Vered, General Manager of Elbit Systems Land & C4I Division said, “There is a need for a reliable voice and data transfer in the modern battlefield, and the decision of this customer to equip its army with our systems reflects the recognition of the high quality and functionality of our communications products".
