Lockheed Martin Wins $318 Million Support Contract For Hellfire II Missiles

Lockheed Martin has won a support contract worth $318 million to provide Hellfire II missile hardware and component production requirements for the US Army and the Air Force.

The contract awarded by the US Department of Defense will also see Lockheed Martin offering support to the foreign customers of Hellfire II missile – Korea, Egypt, Pakistan, Iraq, India, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and Indonesia, the DoD statement said.

Work has an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2018.  

In another announcement made by the US DoD on December 7, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp has also won a $354 million support contract for the US Navy’s fifth program year for 29 MH-60R helicopters.

The company will provide logistics support and the work is estimated to be completed by Dec. 31, 2017.
