Northrop Grumman Wins $285 Million US Navy Contract For Japan’s E-2D Hawkeye Aircraft

Northrop Grumman has won a $285 million contract to support the production and delivery of one E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft to Japan under the Foreign Military Sales program.

Under the terms of contract awarded by the US Navy, work is expected to be completed in September 2019, the US Department of Defense announced Wednesday.

Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $285 million are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

On November 13, the Defense Department announced an earlier sale of a Northrop Grumman E-2D Hawkeye aircraft to Japan.
