Rockwell Collins To Supply Transportable Blackhawk Operations Simulator To Mexican Navy

Rockwell Collins has been awarded a foreign military sales contract worth $12 million to supply a transportable Blackhawk Operations Simulator (T-BOS) to the Mexican navy.  

“Rockwell Collins Simulation and Training Solutions, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was awarded a $12,087,181 multi-year, firm-fixed-price, foreign military sales contract (Mexico) for a transportable Blackhawk Operations Simulator for the Mexican navy,” the US Department of Defense announced Thursday.  

Work will be performed in Mexico, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 11, 2018.  

Fiscal 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $12,087,181 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity, the statement added. 

The Transportable Black Hawk Operations Simulator (T-BOS) is the US military-approved transportable UH-60L/M flight simulator.
