Lockheed Martin Corp is being awarded a $40 million order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for non-recurring engineering efforts in support of the MH-60R aircraft for the integration of software product improvement.
These services are in support of the U.S. Navy and the Government of Australia. Work is expected to be completed by June 2018, US department of defense said in a statement Wednesday.
Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Navy) and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $40 million will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the Government of Australia under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
