China Seals US$40 Bn Deals At Airshow China 2016
China debuted an impressive number of new airplanes this year, including the J-20 stealth fighter, Y-20 strategic airlifter, and AG-600 seaplane.

China has signed a total of 402 deals worth over $40 billion during the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, which concluded on Sunday.

There is no breakdown of defence vs. civilian deals but that the focus of the show was more on defence products. A total of 151 aircraft attended the air show, including China's most-advanced J-20 stealth fighter, the organizer told China Military Online.

Customers ordered 187 aircraft at the fair. Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) was the winner, with one leasing firm ordering 40 regional jets ARJ21-700 and two others ordering 56 large passenger aircraft C919.
