Pratt & Whitney Wins $93 Million For F119 Engine Sustainment USAF Contract

Pratt and Whitney has won $93 million contract for US Air Force’s F119 engine sustainment.

Contractor will provide engine sustainment labor, data and combined test force operations and support. Work is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2017, US department of defense said in a statement Tuesday.

The contract is a modification of a previously awarded contract.

Fiscal 2017 Air Force and Air National Guard operations and maintenance; and research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $78,900,000 are being obligated at the time of award.

The F119-PW-100 turbofan engines power the U.S Air Force’s F-22 Raptor.
