General Atomics Wins $26 Million USAF MQ-9 Reaper Contracts

General Atomics has won $26 million worth two contracts for MQ-9 Block 5 Exportability acquisition and Electrical Safety Improvement (ESIP) retrofit kits.

General Atomics won $17 million contract for MQ-9 Block 5 Exportability acquisition for future foreign military sales to France and Spain. Work is expected to be complete by Jan. 31, 2019, US department of defense said in a statement Friday.

It also won $9 million contract for MQ-9 Reaper Electrical Safety Improvement Program (ESIP) follow-on effort. Contractor will provide 46 ESIP retrofit kits, installations, initial spares, and consumable kits for the MQ-9 Reaper. Work is expected to be complete by Dec. 9, 2016 for this contract.
