Bell-Boeing Wins $411M Worth US Navy Contracts To Provide Repair Services For V-22 Aircraft

Bell-Boeing has been awarded two US Navy contracts estimated $411 million to repair various parts of the V-22 aircraft.  

The first contract is worth $246 million that has one-year base period and a one-year option period. If all options on the contract are exercised, the total value of this contract will be $545 million, the US Department of Defense announced Thursday.

Work is expected to be completed by December 2018. If all options are exercised, work will continue through December 2019.

The second contract is worth $246 million that has a two-year base period with no option period.  Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2019, the statement said.
