General Atomics Wins $349 Million USAF Contract For MQ-1 Predator, MQ-9 Reaper Drones

General Atomics wins $349 million worth US Air Force contract for MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial systems support and services.

“General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, California, has been awarded a $349,141,302 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial systems support and services,” the US Department of Defense announced Thursday.

Contractor will provide program management, logistics support, configuration management, technical manual and software maintenance, contractor field service representative support, inventory control point management, flight operations support, depot repair, and depot field maintenance.

Work will be performed at Poway, California, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2017.
