China is likely to display 1:20 scale models of five Long March rockets at the Australian International Airshow to be held in Avalon from Tuesday to Saturday.

The Chinese rocket models will be showcased for the first time at the airshow. Along with the rockets, China will display new-generation Long March-5 and Long March-7 launch vehicles for the first time overseas, the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) announced Monday.

Long March carrier rockets are compatible with foreign satellites, said the CASC, adding that the rockets had provided commercial launch services for several countries including Laos and Belarus, Xinhua reported.

China now offers services such as exporting satellites, technology transfer, training and ground station construction.
