Russia and Saudi Arabia have likely signed contracts on the supplies of S-400 missile systems on Monday.

"We have well-known contracts on air defense and other issues, which have been signed," Head of Russia’s Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugayev was quoted by Tass as saying to Rossiya 24 Monday.

Earlier, the press service of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation said Russia and Saudi Arabia had reached agreements on the supplies of S-400 missile systems.

“The talks are ongoing now, the terms are being agreed,” Vladimir Kozhin, a close aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin had said to Interfax in October this year.

He said the contract could be signed “in the nearest time,” giving no further detail.
