Indian Air Force Trainer Jet Crashes, No Casualties

An Indian Air Force Kiran trainer jet crashed in the southern state of Telangana on Friday.

The woman cadet on board ejected unhurt before it crashed.  The jet had taken off from Hakimpet Air Force station and crashed in Siddipet district. The aircraft had attempted an emergency landing but failed. The cause of the crash is still to be ascertained, ANI reported.

The Air Force has ordered a Court of inquiry in the matter.
