Turkey’s Defense Industry Undersecretariat and defense giants ASELSAN and Roketsan have signed an accord for a national long-range defense system project.
ASELSAN said Tuesday that its share under the agreement was 869 million Turkish liras ($227 million) and 279.3 million euros ($342 million) and that the deliveries will be completed in 2021.
ASELSAN designs, develops and manufactures military communication systems, radar and electronic warfare systems, electro-optical systems and defense and weapon systems for the Turkish military, in addition exports abroad.
