Saab and the Confederation of Danish Industry were the hosts on Tuesday when Danish businesses gathered for the country's biggest industry conference in a long time.>> The goal was to forge new and fruitful partnerships between Saab and Danish businesses.>> Saab has long had a local presence in Denmark, and the level of cooperation with Danish industry is rising steadily as the Danish procurement of fighter planes intensifies. Yesterday, Saab met with about 200 representatives of Danish industry to discuss possible future partnerships.>> The Industry Conference, held at Odense Congress Center, opened with a speech by Anders Ladefoged, director of Dansk Industri. He was followed by the head of the Defense & Aerospace Industries Association in Denmark (FAD), Ena Bjerregaard, Saab's marketing director Mats Warstedt and by Johan Lehander, Managing Director of Gripen International.>> -ends->
