Huntington Ingalls to Acquire Fulcrum IT Services

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is expanding its capabilities in situational awareness and predictive threat analysis by acquiring Fulcrum IT services.

The planned acquisition is expected to close in February. Fulcrum will join HII's Technical Solutions division, the company said in a statement Friday.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Fulcrum will provide advanced engineering, cyber security, software development, big data engineering, and intelligence and special operations experience, the company stated further.

HII had acquired G2 Inc in December.
