Turkish firm FNSS has unveiled the prototype of its new amphibious assault vehicle “ZAHA” on Wednesday at the IDEF 2019 defense exhibition taking place in Istanbul, Turkey.
“The vehicle was designed to meet requirements of the Turkish Naval Forces. Within the scope of this project, FNSS will produce a total of 27 vehicles,” said Nail Kurt, CEO of FNSS.
“The 21-personnel-capacity ZAHA's tests will be completed within two years,” he told Hurriyet Daily News.
He added that deliveries of the ZAHA armored amphibious assault vehicle is scheduled to begin in 2021, and will be completed in 2022.
