Several dozen soldiers are reported killed or injured when Iran-backed Houthi rebels attacked a Saudi-supported government parade, in Yemen’s Aden city today.
“A missile attack hit a military parade at an army camp west of the city controlled by a Saudi-backed government,” a security official was quoted as saying by Daily Sabah.
According to the Al Masirah TV, the Houthis have claimed responsibility for the attack, where they launched medium-range ballistic missiles and an armed drone.
Following this incident, the Houthis targeted a police facility in the city's Omar al-Mokhtar neighbourhood. According to the Yemeni officials and witnesses, a suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden car into a police station, killing three people and wounding at least 20 others.
