GE To Supply 5 Engines for Presidential Helicopters
CT7-8 engine

General Electric has won a $11.1 million modification contract involving procurement of five engines to be equipped on Presidential helicopters.

"General Electric is awarded an $11.09 million modification contract in support of the Marine Corps Presidential Helicopter Program. This modification procures five CT7-8A6 engines with metal shipping containers, interface harness and associated control hardware," the US Department of Defense said in a statement Wednesday.

Work is expected to be completed in December 2019.
