Lockheed to Supply Trident II Missiles to US Navy
Trident II (D5) missile

Lockheed Martin Space has won a contract worth $109 million to supply Trident II (D5) missiles to the U.S. Navy.

The contract covers Trident II (D5) missile production and deployed systems support, the U.S. Department of Defense said in a release today.

Work is expected to be completed September 30, 2025.

The Trident II D5 is a three-stage, solid-propellant, inertial-guided ballistic missile. It can carry multiple independently targeted re-entry bodies for a maximum range of over 7,360km.
