Signing of the MBDA-IAI agreement on November 24,2021.

MBDA Germany signed an agreement with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) to cooperate in the field of ground-based air defense system.

“IAI and MBDA plan to develop joint solution concepts for this security-critical segment in accordance with the needs of the armed forces. The cooperation encompasses all areas of ground-based air defense. The experience and synergies of both companies help to develop effective and appropriate system solutions across the entire spectrum for the Bundeswehr,” MBDA announced Wednesday.

“I am delighted that we have found an internationally renowned and competent partner in IAI. I am convinced that in the next few years our companies will design trend-setting products and systems and make them ready for use that are essential for the security of Germany and Israel,” said Thomas Gottschild, Managing Director MBDA Germany.
