Indian Navy Receives SMASH Fire Control Systems from Israel

Israeli firm SMART SHOOTER said it completed delivery of SMASH fire control systems to the Indian Navy recently.

The company will present its SMASH family of fire control systems at the DefExpo exhibition in Gandhinagar Gujarat, India, in a joint stand with its local partner for Make In India – Defsys Solutions Pvt Ltd.

SMASH is a Fire Control solution that ensures each round finds its target. With a unique “One Shot – One Hit” capability, SMASH allows the operator to quickly and effectively neutralize any ground or airborne target, manned or unmanned, including drones. It is a cost-effective add-on solution that can be integrated onto any type of assault rifle and accommodate any kind of ammunition.

Combining computer vision technologies, electro-optics, tracking algorithms and real-time embedded software, the SMASH solutions are ideal for defense, HLS and Border protection, and fully comply with the Indian operational and environmental needs.
