Indian Army Inducts Indigenously Developed Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle

The Indian Army today inducted the first set of indigenously developed Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle Medium (QRFV).

General MM Naravane, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) inducted the first set of indigenously developed QRFV, Infantry Protected Mobility Vehicle (IPMV), Ultra Long Range Observation System developed by Tata Advanced System Limited (TASL) and Monocoque Hull Multi Role Mine Protected Armoured Vehicle developed by Bharat Forge, Indian defence ministry said in a statement.

The TASL informed that the infantry protected mobility vehicles (IPMVs) is a co-development project with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). They have undergone stringent field trials in deserts as well as high-altitude areas by the Indian Army.
