Ukraine’s Air Force said they destroyed 300 Russian aircraft since February 24, the day Moscow invaded the country.
The military added that on April 12, it managed to shoot down a Russian Su-25 jet, despite bad weather.
Russian losses in the combat as per Ukraine includes 160 aircraft, 143 helicopters, 732 tanks, 1,946 armored fighting vehicles, 351 artillery systems, 130 UAVs, 60 anti-aircraft warfare systems and 1,400 military vehicles.
Meanwhile, Russia is claiming more than 50% destruction of Ukrainian military equipment in multiple categories, including tanks and artillery. On April 2, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces have destroyed 125 planes, 88 helicopters, 381 UAVs, 1,888 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 205 multiple launch rocket systems, 793 field artillery guns and mortars, and 1,771 “special military motor vehicles” (probably trucks and other utility vehicles).
