Poland is looking to buy South Korean armored vehicles and howitzers besides cooperating with Asian defense industry giant in armaments research.
The defence minister of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak and his South Korean counterpart Lee Jong-Sup signed an agreement on cooperation in the area of armaments and research.
“By equipping the Polish Army with modern equipment, we must do everything possible, firstly, to use the maximum potential of the Polish arms industry, the possibility of cooperation with Korea, and on the other hand, to equip our troops with the equipment produced in Korea as soon as possible,” Blaszczak said Monday.
Poland is seeking South Korean armored vehicles and artillery guns as part of this cooperation, the Polish MoD said in a series of tweets regarding the visit of a Polish military delegation to Seoul led by defense minister Blaszczak.
