Russian forces shot down three Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft besides eight UAVs including a Bayraktar combat drone on Saturday, Russian MoD spokesperson, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said in statement today.
"(Russian) fighter aircraft shot down two Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the districts of Raygorodok and Cherkasskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic. Another Su-25 was brought down by air defense systems in the Dolgenkoye area of the Kharkov region," he said.
"Eight Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the areas of the settlements of Borovenki, Druzhba of the Lugansk People's Republic, Vladimirovka of the Donetsk People's Republic, Brazhkovka, Bolshie Prohody of the Kharkiv region, including one Bayraktar TB-2 near the settlement of Velyka Kamyshevakha," Konashenkov said.
At the same time, using Kalibr cruise missiles the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a large warehouse of anti-tank missile systems and portable anti-aircraft missile systems in the Ternopolskaya region supplied to Kiev from the US and the EU, Konashenkov said.
Starlink Satellite terminals for Kyiv
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has passed another batch of Starlink satellite terminals, used for intelligence gathering, to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “Multitasker Elon Musk manages not only to work on preparations for the Mars mission but also to pass the Starlinks to our intelligence so needed for their special missions," the Ukrainian MoD tweeted.
