Two American-made HIMARs Launchers Destroyed in Ukraine: Russian MoD

The Russian Defense Ministry today announced the destruction two launchers of American -made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) in Donbass by precision missiles.
"In the area of ​​​​the settlement of Malotaranovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, high-precision air-launched missiles destroyed two US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket launchers and two ammunition depots for them," Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing on Wednesday.
The U.S. delivered upto 12 HIMARs launchers whose missiles have a range of 120 Km. The HIMARS MLRS are expected to contain Russian advances. Having a far greater range than field artillery, the HIMARS are supposed to be the nemesis of tanks and armored vehicles.
"In the Shirokodanivka area of ​​the Mykolaiv region, a radar station for guiding the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, as well as a temporary deployment point for foreign mercenary units in the Limany region of the Mykolaiv region, were destroyed by high-precision weapons," he added.
