Estonia Supplies Ukraine with UAVs Meant for Russia

The Embassy of Estonia in Ukraine handed over military drones purchased for the Russian forces by a man with dual citizenship, to Kyiv.

Supporting the aggression of a foreign state is punishable by the Republic of Estonia with imprisonment for up to 5 years.

“Remember an Estonian and Russian dual citizen who was trying to bring the drones for the Russian military? In addition to his arrest, the Estonian security police seized the drones he bought and handed them over to the Ukrainian military,” the embassy said in a statement.

The Estonian court, in July, found three men guilty of supporting Russia by procuring drones for the country. One of them, a 43-year-old man Vladimir, organized a fundraising campaign for the same. He was employed as a long-distance driver at a Finnish company, mil.in.ua reported.

The court sentenced the man to one year in prison, four months of which must be served immediately. The other eight months are a conditional prison sentence with a 4-year probationary period.
