Turkey's Aselsan Developing Anti-missile Countermeasures for KAAN Fighter
Aselsan is developing YILDIRIM-300 for KAAN fighter jet @via Turkish media

Turkey’s Aselsan is developing a Directed Infrared Countermeasure (DIRCM) System for its upcoming KAAN fighter jet against infrared guided missiles.

With the completion of YILDIRIM-300, KAAN will become the second 5th generation fighter aircraft in the world, after the Su-57, with DIRCM at the final stage, according to SavunmaSanayiST.

YILDIRIM-300 follows the development YILDIRIM-100 DIRCM System which is meant for the defense of helicopters and turbo-prop air platforms against infrared guided missiles.
