PT PAL Indonesia handed over all five units of 60-meter Fast Missile Boats (KCR).
KRI sailing pass parade was held in sequence by the MCMV Ship KRI Fani Island-731, KRI Fanildo Island-732, KRI Kapak-625, KRI Panah-626, KRI Halasan-630, KRI Tombak-629, KRI Sampari- 628, and KRI Golok-688.
Before officially undergoing the sailing pass procession, the 60-meter Fast Missile Ship made by PAL has completed the installation and integration of the weapons system, namely KRI Halasan-630 in early 2023. In addition, PAL has also completed the construction and installation of weapons on the KRI Kapak-625 and KRI Panah-626 and the inauguration of the ship's commander on May 17, 2023.
The performance of the four KCR 60 meters during the testing period yielded above average results, being able to travel up to 2,400 nautical miles (NM), at speeds of more than 28 knots. In addition, the four KCR 60 meters have proven capable of being in sea state 6 conditions. In addition, the 3rd generation KCR 60 meters have undergone many changes to the design structure and ship capabilities. It is not surprising that in the series of tests up to the commodore inspection, as a sign of the final test, these two ships received praise for better performance than what had been mandated in the contract.
