The Come Back Alive Foundation has purchased 208 quadcopters including 104 DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise UAVs worth over UAH 22 million (around $595,000) for Ukrainian troops.
The other half being drones in the Enterprise Thermal version with night optics.
Since the beginning of the year, the Foundation has donated 2643 UAVs for the needs of the military.
Produced by China’s DJI, Mavic 3 is a civilian UAV with a maximum flight radius of 30 km, and flight autonomy without wind is about 45 minutes.
Civilian drones from this manufacturer are widely used by both sides on the battlefield.
Their main tasks are reconnaissance of the terrain directly on the contact line, adjustment of artillery fire, and dropping light ammunition.
