Oshkosh receives $281 million contract for FMTV trucks

Oshkosh Corporation, was awarded a $280,919,717 contract to purchase 2,568 Medium Tactical Vehicles plus Ordering Tear (OY) 01 Program Support, OY 01 data, additional care and storage, component first article test, first production vehicle inspection test, production verification test, live test family medium tactical vehicles winch, armor B-kits, and federal retail tax on subject contract. Work is to be performed in Oshkosh, Wisc. with an estimated completion date of Apr. 30, 2010. Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web with three bids received.
