Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto handed over eight H225M heavy lift helicopters, a collaborative effort between PTDI and Airbus Helicopters, France, to Air Force Chief Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo at Atang Sendjaja Air Base in Bogor on Friday.

The helicopters were delivered in stages, starting with the first unit on September 14, 2023, from the PTDI Rotary Wing Apron Hangar in Bandung to the Atang Sendjaja Indonesian Air Force Base.

Additionally, Minister Prabowo inaugurated the H225M Full Flight Simulator (FFS) with the signing of an inscription.

The H225M is recognized for its utility in missions like special operations, search and rescue, medical evacuation, maritime surveillance, and aerial fire support. Notable features include a modular design, advanced avionics, and the new-generation Turbomeca MAKILA 2A1 powerplant for high performance and safety. The H225M Full Flight Simulator, constructed at ATS Air Base, stands as the region's sole FAA-qualified Level D Flight Simulator Training Device.
