Russian drone manufacturer Zala Aero Group, has introduced its latest development, the Product 55 loitering munition.

This new addition to the ZALA lineup features a distinctive X-wing aerodynamic design derived from the Lancet family, equipped with four engines.

Marked as a short-range loitering munition, Product 55 boasts user-friendly operation and ensures the safety of the operator through remote container launch capabilities. The system provides real-time monitoring in Full HD quality until the moment of impact, allowing operators to select the optimal angle of approach to the target.

One noteworthy feature highlighted by the company is its resilience against enemy electronic warfare systems, making it impervious to such threats.

Despite the unveiling, Zala Aero Group has chosen to keep the specifications of Product 55 under wraps. However, industry observers anticipate that the company will release more comprehensive details about the loitering munition during the upcoming 6th edition of the Unmanned System Exhibition and Conference (UMEX-2024). The event is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from January 22nd to January 25th, 2024.
