Rosoboronexport, a subsidiary of the Rostec State Corporation, will display a range of “combat proven” drones at the upcoming Sixth International Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (UMEX 2024) scheduled to take place from January 23-25, in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
The company will showcase unmanned ground, aerial, and underwater vehicles, emphasizing its presence in various market segments.
Director General Alexander Mikheev highlighted expansion into the unmanned underwater vehicle sector, specifically the Klavesin-1RE.
Rosoboronexport promotes UAVs like Orlan-10E, Orlan-30, and Orion-E, along with the Kub-E loitering munition, emphasizing collaboration with Russian manufacturers for drone enhancement.
The company aims to utilize UMEX 2024 to present Russian unmanned systems, explore cooperation opportunities, and advocate for local production of drones, joint R&D efforts, and high-tech service facilities. Additionally, Rosoboronexport plans to offer services in constructing advanced service facilities at local and regional levels for unmanned system repair and maintenance, leveraging its experience in organizing infrastructure for mass deployment in combat conditions.
At UMEX 2024, Rosoboronexport will present counter-UAV systems, including those developed by Rostec enterprises. The catalog includes both soft- and hard-kill systems designed to counter UAVs of various sizes.
