U.A.E.’s state-owned EDGE introduced three new remote-controlled vehicles during the Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (UMEX) and the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SIMTEX) 2024.
The unveiled platforms are designed to operate in challenging environments, addressing tactical intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and logistics support.
The GY300, engineered for short take-offs and landings over rough terrain, is a low-maintenance, high-reliability unmanned aircraft capable of transporting a 300 kg payload at a low operational cost.
In the ground systems category, "BUNKER PRO" is a high-performance tracked unmanned ground vehicle designed for fully autonomous operations, including remote surveillance, reconnaissance, convoy walking, target identification, and external patrols.
The M-BUGGY, an unmanned, wheeled, multi-terrain ground vehicle, utilizes advanced imaging and sensor technologies to provide actionable data for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
Live demonstrations of the "M-BUGGY" will take place in the amphitheater area at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center - ADNEC.
Attendees of UMEX and SIMTEX 2024 are encouraged to visit EDGE and its group of companies in Hall 5, Stand A18 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from January 23 to 25 to explore these new unmanned systems and witness the latest advancements in autonomous technology.
