The Ministry of Defense of Honduras has acquired two additional Airbus H145 helicopters, expanding the fleet to bolster operations within the Honduran Air Force.

These newly acquired helicopters are intended for passenger and cargo transport, search and rescue operations, firefighting, and medical evacuation across the region. This acquisition builds upon a previous order placed in April 2023 for two H145s, which are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2024.

The five-bladed version of the H145 offers an additional 150kg of useful load, enhancing its capacity for various operational needs while ensuring improved comfort for both passengers and crews. Notably, the H145's compact fuselage design enables it to operate in confined spaces, making it particularly suited for firefighting missions.
