AURA AERO, Airbus Protect Cooperate for Certification of ERA Hybrid-Electric Aircraft
Partnership aimed at ensuring safety, cybersecurity, and sustainability aspects for the ERA program's certification and production.
AURA AERO and Airbus Protect have entered into a cooperation agreement to facilitate the certification process of ERA, the upcoming 19-seater hybrid-electric aircraft developed by AURA AERO.
Under this agreement, both companies will address safety, cybersecurity, and sustainability concerns associated with the ERA program and its production methods.
The collaboration aims to streamline the ERA certification process and production schedule, ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, Airbus Protect sees this partnership as an opportunity to broaden its knowledge in hybrid propulsion, all-electric systems, and compliance with general aviation regulatory frameworks such as CS-23.
