Schiebel Group Inaugurates New Camcopter S-300 Production Facility in France
CAMCOPTER S-100 has been in service with the French Ministry of Armed Forces since 2012.
Schiebel Group has officially opened a new facility, Schiebel Aéronaval SAS, in Toulon, France, aimed at supporting the French Navy's S-100 operations and spearheading the production of the CAMCOPTER S-300.
The CAMCOPTER S-100 has been in service with the French Ministry of Armed Forces since 2012.
The new entity will provide localized support for the French Navy’s fleet of S-100s under a five-year DMAé (Direction de la Maintenance Aéronautique) contract awarded to Schiebel at the end of 2023. Schiebel Aéronaval SAS will feature a production and repair facility for assembling and maintaining S-100 systems for the French Navy and other clients. Additionally, the facility will include a training department to educate operators and maintenance technicians.
Schiebel Aéronaval SAS is also set to become the primary European production and payload integration site for the advanced CAMCOPTER S-300.
