Croatia has officially purchased eight additional UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, through a U.S. government Foreign Military Sale.

This acquisition brings Croatia's Black Hawk fleet to a total of 12 helicopters. The deal includes not only the aircraft but also organizational equipment, spare and repair parts, and associated support equipment.

The Black Hawks will support various roles within the Croatian Armed Forces, including troop lift, border security, counter-terrorism, medical evacuation, search-and-rescue, resupply or external lift, and combat support.

The UH-60M/S-70M Black Hawk is a key choice for modernizing and replacing legacy medium-lift utility helicopter fleets.
