The Russian defense Ministry has released footage of a strike on a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jet located at the Mirgorod airfield in the Poltava region.

Rosoboronexport, Russia's state-owned defense export company, is now receiving applications from strategic partners interested in acquiring the system.

The attack was carried out by a crew operating the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system.

This latest strike demonstrates the effectiveness of the Iskander-M system, which has been used in various combat operations.

Alexander Mikheyev, head of Rosoboronexport said during the ongoing ARMY-2024 Forum that the company is willing to discuss delivery terms with partners after equipping the Russian Armed Forces. Mikheyev highlighted the performance of the Iskander-M system in real combat operations, which has garnered attention from foreign partners.

The Iskander-M complex, developed by the Kolomna Machine-Building Design Bureau, features two types of missiles with a range of up to 500 km. This latest strike showcases the system's capabilities and effectiveness in neutralizing enemy aircraft and command posts.
