Egypt Buys Two C-130J Super Hercules Aircraft

The Egyptian Air Force has recently ordered two C-130J Super Hercules Aircraft, becoming the 23rd nation to operate the C-130J-30 Super Hercules.

Lockheed Martin announced on X regarding the procurement by Egypt. A contract was signed during the ongoing Egypt Air show.

This upgrade includes the acquisition of two C-130J-30 aircraft.

The C-130J-30, an upgraded version of the iconic C-130 Hercules, is celebrated for its versatility and advanced technology.

Featuring a longer fuselage than the standard C-130J, the C-130J-30 provides increased cargo capacity, making it ideal for a wide array of missions.

These include tactical airlift, humanitarian aid, and rapid deployment operations. The aircraft excels particularly in rapid cargo airlift, personnel transport, and medical evacuation, showcasing its adaptability and reliability.
