Putin’s Revenge: Ukrainian Weapons’ Train, Unmanned Boats Bases, MiG-29s Destroyed

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a Ukrainian train with foreign weapons, Mig-29 and Su-27 aircraft, a missile depot besides storage areas for enemy unmanned boats  in 148 areas where the special military operation was being conducted.

The massive attack is said to be in response to the shooting down of a Russian Su-30SM fighter jet over the Black Sea on Wednesday by an armed sea drone.

According to a Defense Ministry's statement, the strike was carried out by fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces.

The Russian Aerospace Forces shot down two Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jets of the Ukrainian Air Force in one day. On the same day, air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian MiG-29. Over the Kursk region,  Russian Su-35S fighters shot at Ukrainian MiG-29A/AS and Su-27s jets in long-range air battles at distances from 120 to 200 km with R-37M super-long-range air-to-air missiles, as well as R-77-1 long-range guided missiles.

The Ukrainain aircraft were equipped with JDAM-ER and GBU-39/B gliding guided bombs, as well as AASM-250 HAMMER active-reactive guided bombs and AGM-88B Block 3 HARM anti-radar missiles. According to some reports, the aircraft were intercepted in the Sumy operational direction, where they provided air support to battalion-tactical assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The air defense systems also intercepted one US-made HIMARS rocket and four French-made Hammer guided bombs. 55 enemy drones were also shot down - 22 of them were destroyed outside the special military operation zone.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 29 enemy drones over Russian territory. Fifteen of them were hit in the Bryansk region, five in the Kursk region. Four were shot down in the Smolensk region, two in the Oryol region. Another three were destroyed in the Belgorod, Kaluga and Rostov regions.
