PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) announced on Monday the delivery of the sixth NC212i aircraft to the Indonesian Air Force.

This aircraft, designated AX-2133, is part of a total order of nine units made by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense.

The aircraft will be operated by Air Squadron 4 and features a Troop Transport configuration.

This delivery follows the earlier transfer of five NC212i aircraft, which were delivered in stages: two units in 2023, one in 2022, and two in 2021. The seventh aircraft is scheduled for delivery in February 2025.

Notably, the latest NC212i is equipped with a new MTV-27 propeller from MT Propeller, Germany, which has received EASA certification. The new propeller reduces noise and improves performance during single-engine operations.

The NC212i has a multi-functional design, low operational costs, and ability to operate from short runways.
